History

 

Our garden centre was founded in 1994 and at the time was called Jalna Nursery. We started by producing plant material for the wholesale market. Very soon, our love for customer relations, and the definite  need for a retail outlet in the area, led to the development of Future Gardens.Since 1994 we have  changed our location twice, this was driven by the necessity for the perfect spot. Our persistance  was soon rewarded in 1998 when we found a home for our rapidly growing "baby". Focusing on the "pesonal touch" aspect of the buisness, like the quality of the plants sold, and the understanding of the growing consumer community, has been our main ticket to sucess.

In response to consumer demand we have provided :

- Drought and deer resistant plants

- An extensive selection of roses (own root and novelties)

- Hardy Cacti

- Ornamental grasses

- Organic based soils and mulches

- Custom made planters, baskets and displays.

Reference materials are available to anyone that needs them. Several fabulous landscape displays aid customers in making their plant choices. Our services include: custom planting, onsite help with landscape design, and consultations. In other words we have become the kind of garden centre that locals love to visit, and people from all over come to see.
